On our way into Czech we experienced their awful concrete roads which feel like a constant cattle grid. We had a stop at Bruno for lunch and were then at our hotel in Prague that afternoon. That night we were taken on a city tour with our guide using the public transport and we got to walk around and see the Astronomical Clock tower on the hour, had a group meal and also walked across Charles Bridge at night.
The next day we went to the markets and also went to the top of the clock tower, we went up the stairs to begin with but mum gets scared of heights and she went back down so I did it by myself and when I was walking back down I spotted her in the lift going back up so she did make it in the end! We then walked across Charles Bridge again and went up to Hradcany castle and then on the way back down we walked through all the castle gardens in search of squirrels again (but it was also the easiest way to get back) and we came across the birds of prey which were tethered. Then that night we caught a bus from our hotel and went to the local shopping centre (Tesco) for dinner.
Prague is a really lovely city and it was so easy to find our way around. Food was also really cheap!
The countryside is also very pretty and there are a lot of canola fields which makes it quite colourful.
