We started our journey on the cruise yesterday. It took a little effort to get to Port Piraeus because we took the train then had to walk a fair way with our luggage while dodging the traffic which is really crazy (people just stop their cars in the middle of the road while they go get food and expect everyone else to wait and we have also seen cars driving on the footpath).
The cruise is really nice – a lot of eating and relaxing! The service is fantastic, there are 890 people on board and half of that is staff. Kelsey and me have been going to some of the activities such as Greek Zorba dance lessons haha I even dragged mum along to that one. It’s really good to be out at sea!
We are in Istanbul, Turkey today but I will write more about it tomorrow. Tonight we will pass through the Dardanelles and Gallipoli, we will get a good view of the Anzac day service early in the morning.
