Ah, Mykonos, you stole our hearts in just one afternoon! The island is like a picture-perfect postcard come to life, with its charming white houses dotting the landscape looking like royal icing on a wedding cake. We strolled through its labyrinthine streets, taking in the sights and sounds, with the iconic windmills standing tall against the azure sky.

Oh, and let’s not forget about the mesmerising crystal-clear waters of Mykonos! The sea water was so clear and pristine that it seemed almost surreal.

Our time on the island may have been short, but it was oh-so-sweet. We savored every moment, indulging in refreshing drinks at a little cafe along the beach.

As for yesterday, we were in our own little haven aboard our floating paradise, as Mum likes to call it. It turns out the reason for the sparse crowds onboard is due to the volcanic ash causing disruptions to others’ travel plans. Lucky for us, it meant we had more space to enjoy the captain’s cocktail party last night!

I had hoped to share some snapshots of our adventures with you all, but alas, the internet on the ship had other plans. No worries though, I’ll save the photo-sharing for when we reach Italy, where hopefully the internet gods will be more cooperative.
