We are currently waiting in the Brisbane airport and we are very bored. We had a ridiculous 6 hour wait until we leave at 2.30am. I’m really looking forward to just getting on the plane. Actually we are very lucky to still be flying as while we were checking in the majority of the people around us had their flights cancelled due to the volcanic ash issue and also the overload of people in Dubai at the moment. It was our 2 stopovers resulting in a longer travel time to Europe that allowed us to continue. Our level of excitement is still fairly low, I don’t think it has sunk in just yet. Hopefully the current flight situation will have a very minimal impact on our travels but if all else fails at least we will have a nice time while we are stuck in Singapore. I will post another update over the next few days.
